Virginia Schindler, Finance Director

Virginia has 19 years of accounting experience in both for profit and non-profit accounting.  She spent six years with the CPA firm Berkman, Burgher & Co., managing the accounts of 25 small businesses, before turning her talents to accounting for non-profit agencies.  She has worked in non-profit organizations as a Finance Director for seven years and Accounting Manager, supervising the accounting department in a $9M agency, for the five years prior to joining Washington CASH. Virginia gained a deep respect for the difficulties that small business owners encounter while providing accounting services. Helping individuals who struggle to reach their goals in life has always been one of Virginia’s passions. She is therefore eager to assist individuals who would not otherwise have the means to launch a business without training and financial assistance.
