Mary Eriksson-Humphrey, Volunteer Coordinator/Program Assistant

As Volunteer Coordinator & Program Assistant with Washington CASH, Mary supports, coordinates, and recruits volunteers, and also provides program assistance. Growing up in an entrepreneurial home, Mary gained an understanding of the benefits as well as the challenges of being a small business owner. Prior to joining Washington CASH, Mary coordinated programs and volunteers for various non-profit organizations supporting families and youth, including Foster A Dream, San Diego Youth and Community Services, the Young Women’s Christian Association, and Club Xcite for Kids, where she served as a mentor. She also spent a summer in Romania in Eastern Europe, teaching English and mentoring inner-city youth. From all of her experiences, Mary witnessed the power of mentoring and volunteering, and its tremendous impact on individuals and the community.  She has a passion for volunteerism, and is thrilled to support and motivate others to get involved and make a difference through volunteering.
