Jorji Knickrehm, Grants Manager

Jorji has been building relationships with the foundation, corporation and government funders who share Washington CASH’s mission for over four years.  She is a board member of the Puget Sound Grantwriters Association.  Jorji comes to microenterprise development via the theatre world. She graduated from Oregon State University with degrees in Theatre Arts and Liberal Studies before going on to professional acting studies at Circle In the Square Theatre School in New York City. She acted in, directed and helped produce theatre productions for seven years in New York and then switched to the development side of theatre, working for SecondStory Repertory in Redmond for 3½ years as development director before coming to Washington CASH. Her enthusiastic support of microenterprise stems from watching her mother start and run her own small business. Jorji is passionate about shining a spotlight on the vital and effective work of Washington CASH through the words of her grant proposals.
