Irene Akio, Administrative Assistant/Program Assistant
Irene provides administrative support for the Washington CASH staff, as well as support for clients in the computer lab. Prior to working at Washington CASH, Irene worked as an injury treatment massage practitioner and owned her own massage business. She also has five years of experience as a book-seller, including three years working for Elliott Bay Book Company. Irene received her undergraduate degree in Japanese Studies from Oberlin College in Ohio. She is excited to be working among people and entrepreneurs who support and challenge each other to build better businesses and better community.
