Gylan Green

Executive Director

Gylan is Washington C.A.S.H.'s Executive Director. Motivated by personal and family economic hardships, Gylan is committed to empowering those with limited resources who seek to change their own circumstances. Gylan is deeply inspired by the energy and entrepreneurial spirit he encounters at Washington C.A.S.H.

Gylan has more than 20 years’ experience in nonprofit leadership, fund development, marketing and administration. He began his career in 1988 as grant writer for the Northwest AIDS Foundation, then from 1991-1995 led In Touch, a community-based AIDS service organization. He went on to serve as first executive director of Lambert House, then as development director for both St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral and the Center for Ethical Leadership. From 2007-2011, Gylan was Director of Finance and Administration for Washington Toxics Coalition.

Gylan graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater, and is a published short story writer and memoirist.
