Robin Elms, Client Representative
Robin is the CEO & Founder of WOOF Adventure, a dog service company that offers dog training, outdoor adventures for dogs, and other services for dog owners. Robin has always held a passion for working with dogs and people. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science and has seventeen years of veterinarians' offices. Robin recalls, "I felt the draw of passion to start my own business while working with dogs in other settings. I was sure I could do it better and more effectively."
In 1997, Robin attended a school for dog trainers and became a certified trainer. Her experience at school taught her a lot about dogs but very little about running a business. After certification, she went to work for other dog-related businesses, making very little above minimum wage. Robin became the head trainer at a local dog-related business and began directing the whole training program and supervising and training other dog trainers. In 2000, Robin started a dog training company but realized that even though she was extremely skilled in working with dogs, she did not have the business expertise needed to run a successful enterprise. In 2008, she attended the Washington CASH Business Development Training and reestablished her business with a new model.
Robin comes to Washington CASH with a long history of volunteer work with other non-profit agencies in the Seattle area. She strives to listen, understand, and communicate the needs and concerns of the Washington CASH community so she can have a small part in others' success in following their passions of making a living doing the things they love.
When not working on WOOF Adventure, Robin loves to be outdoors.
