Muguette P. Guenneguez

Muguette comes to Washington CASH with over 20 years of experience and community service, team management, project management and process improvement.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she moved to the US at the age of 15.  Her passions are for children, microfinance, education and global issues.  She received her international business degree from Seattle University.  A stint in the dot com arena honed her business skills and she eventually started and operated her own tutoring business.  Currently Muguette works as a budget specialist for the University of Washington.

In the nonprofit arena, Muguette has served as a board member for the Washington Refugee Resettlement Program and she currently serves on the board of Community Day School Association (CDSA).  She is a member of the University Family YMCA Advocacy Committee.  She is also a graduate of United Way of King County's Leadership Effectiveness and Diversity program.

Muguette lives in Seattle with her husband, Lucien, and their son, Raven.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, gardening and reading.
