Lara Hansen

Lara Hansen grew up living on Native American Reservations and in Port-au-Prince, Haiti due to her parents’ careers in Public Health. This instilled a passion for community service that led her to an eleven-year career in affordable housing. Near the end of this tenure, while working for King County Housing Authority, Lara became exposed to the benefits of public-private partnerships and completed an MBA at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

Lara is currently working for Starbucks Coffee Company supporting the global tea business.  Previously she held several strategic positions spanning customer experience, technology, and store development.

Beyond her board involvement at Washington C.A.S.H., Lara's other recent volunteer activities have included mentoring students at Cleveland High School (through Community for Youth) and supporting the redesign of a neighborhood park with FOLKPark.
